By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, submitting information, requesting customer support, requesting a return, requesting a refund, requesting warranty assistance, or using any part of our website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. 2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

Some products may be restricted, regulated, or prohibited in certain states, counties, cities, municipalities, countries, or other jurisdictions. Product laws can change and may vary based on product type, customer status, intended use, shipping destination, possession, transportation, storage, and other factors.

You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply to you before purchasing, receiving, possessing, carrying, transporting, storing, or using any product purchased from Non-Lethal Defense.

Information on our website, including product descriptions, educational content, blog content, FAQs, compliance references, training references, customer service communications, or product guidance, is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as legal advice.

We reserve the right to cancel, refuse, hold, restrict, or refund any order when we believe a product may be restricted, unlawful, unsafe, improperly ordered, incorrectly shipped, suspicious, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate under applicable law, manufacturer policy, payment processor requirements, carrier restrictions, fraud-prevention rules, or company policy.

4. Customer Responsibility for Product Use

Customers are responsible for reading and following all manuals, warnings, instructions, labels, safety notices, and manufacturer guidance before using, storing, transporting, maintaining, or handling any product.

Products sold by Non-Lethal Defense are not toys. They must be stored securely and kept away from children, unauthorized users, prohibited persons, and anyone who may misuse them.

You agree not to use any product purchased from Non-Lethal Defense:

In violation of any law, rule, regulation, court order, or legal restriction.
In a reckless, negligent, threatening, abusive, malicious, or criminal manner.
Against another person except where legally justified under applicable law.
In a way that ignores or contradicts manufacturer instructions, warnings, labels, or safety guidance.
After modifying, altering, disabling, tampering with, or misusing the product.
With incompatible projectiles, cartridges, accessories, chemicals, propellants, parts, or components.
In any manner that could create risk of injury, property damage, unlawful conduct, or liability for Non-Lethal Defense.

5. Product Information, Training, and Safety Content

Product information, safety references, descriptions, videos, guides, training references, blog posts, FAQs, product comparisons, and customer support communications are provided for general informational purposes only.

Such information does not replace manufacturer instructions, product manuals, formal training, legal advice, medical advice, professional guidance, or your responsibility to use products lawfully and safely.

You are responsible for obtaining any training, permits, approvals, certifications, or legal guidance required in your jurisdiction.

6. Account Information and Security

You may be required to create an account or provide information to place an order, request customer support, request a return, request a refund, request warranty assistance, or use certain website features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

You are responsible for keeping your account login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to accounts that appear inaccurate, fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, compromised, or inconsistent with these Terms of Service.

7. Orders, Acceptance, and Cancellation

Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance of the order. All orders are subject to review, product availability, payment approval, fraud screening, shipping restrictions, legal restrictions, manufacturer requirements, carrier limitations, and company policy.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, hold, limit, or refund any order for any reason, including but not limited to:

Product availability or inventory errors.
Pricing, description, website, or checkout errors.
Suspected fraud, misuse, straw purchasing, abuse, or unauthorized activity.
Shipping restrictions or legal restrictions.
Payment processor, carrier, supplier, or manufacturer limitations.
Orders that appear unsafe, unlawful, suspicious, abusive, or inconsistent with company policy.
Orders associated with repeat return abuse, chargeback abuse, or policy misuse.

If an order is canceled after payment is received, we will generally issue a refund to the original payment method, subject to payment processor timing, fraud review, and applicable policies.

8. Pricing, Product Information, and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate product descriptions, images, prices, specifications, availability, and related information. However, errors may occur.

Product images may not always reflect exact packaging, color, finish, labeling, accessories, or updated manufacturer changes. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, change pricing, modify availability, and cancel orders affected by inaccurate information.

Prices, promotions, offers, and availability may change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors, outdated information, manufacturer changes, supplier changes, or third-party content inaccuracies.

9. Payment and Billing

By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize us, our payment processors, and our service providers to charge the total amount of your order, including applicable taxes, shipping, fees, and charges.

We may use third-party payment processors to process transactions. Your payment information may be subject to the terms, policies, and privacy practices of those third-party providers.

If payment is declined, reversed, disputed, charged back, suspected as fraudulent, or otherwise invalid, we may cancel the order, delay shipment, suspend service, restrict future orders, pursue recovery of costs, or take other appropriate action.

11. Shipping

Shipping is subject to product availability, processing times, carrier schedules, legal restrictions, weather, address accuracy, fraud review, payment approval, and other factors outside our control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Non-Lethal Defense is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, misdeliveries, returned shipments, or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete customer-provided information.

Some products may not be eligible for shipment to certain locations. We reserve the right to cancel, hold, or restrict shipment when necessary.

If a shipment is returned because of an incorrect address, refused delivery, failure to pick up the package, carrier issue, legal restriction, or other customer-related issue, the customer may be responsible for original shipping charges, return shipping charges, restocking fees, carrier fees, and any other applicable costs.

12. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are subject to eligibility requirements, timing, approval process, product condition requirements, safety restrictions, manufacturer policies, inspection, and fraud-prevention review.

Eligible change-of-mind returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery, unless a product-specific or manufacturer policy states otherwise. Eligible items must be new, unused, in original packaging, and include all parts, accessories, manuals, labels, documentation, and packaging.

All returns require prior written approval and a valid Return Merchandise Authorization, also called an RMA. Products sent back without prior approval or without a valid RMA may be refused, delayed, returned to sender, or processed at our discretion.

Approved change-of-mind returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise approved in writing by Non-Lethal Defense or required by applicable law.

Refunds are not issued until the returned item is received, inspected, and confirmed to meet our return eligibility requirements. Refunds may be denied or reduced if the returned item is used, altered, missing components, damaged after delivery, not in original packaging, returned late, returned without RMA approval, or otherwise not in returnable condition.

13. Non-Returnable and Final-Sale Items

Certain items may be non-returnable for safety, legal, sanitary, regulatory, product-integrity, or manufacturer-policy reasons.

Non-returnable or final-sale items may include, without limitation:

Restricted products.
Opened or used safety/self-defense products.
Chemical irritant products.
Aerosols.
Ammunition, rounds, or projectiles.
CO2 cartridges or gas cartridges.
Body armor.
Clearance items.
Special-order items.
Items marked final sale on the product page.
Items that cannot be safely resold as new.

Opened, used, altered, damaged, incomplete, or improperly packaged products may not be eligible for return.

14. Return Abuse, Fraud Prevention, and Policy Misuse

Non-Lethal Defense reserves the right to refuse, limit, cancel, review, delay, or deny any order, return, refund, exchange, warranty-related request, or customer service request when we identify activity that appears inconsistent with normal consumer use or appears to involve misuse of our policies.

Examples of activity that may result in additional review or denial include, but are not limited to:

Repeated returns or excessive return activity.
False, misleading, incomplete, or inconsistent return claims.
Chargeback abuse or payment disputes inconsistent with the facts of the order.
Returning used, altered, damaged, opened, missing, or incomplete products as new.
Returning products without prior written RMA approval.
Multiple accounts, names, email addresses, payment methods, phone numbers, or shipping addresses associated with suspicious activity.
Attempts to bypass product restrictions, return rules, final-sale designations, legal restrictions, manufacturer policies, or fraud-prevention controls.
Abusive, threatening, harassing, or bad-faith communications with Non-Lethal Defense or its service providers.

We may use order history, return history, payment risk signals, shipping information, customer account information, device information, fraud-prevention tools, carrier information, manufacturer guidance, and other available information to evaluate orders, returns, refunds, warranty-related requests, and suspected policy misuse.

Non-Lethal Defense reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law, including the right to recover costs, fees, losses, chargeback expenses, shipping charges, product loss, collection costs, and reasonable attorney fees where permitted by law.

15. Warranty Information

Many products sold by Non-Lethal Defense are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturer warranty decisions are made by the manufacturer, not by Non-Lethal Defense.

Warranty coverage, exclusions, claim approval, repair, replacement, credit, refund, or denial decisions are determined by the applicable manufacturer.

Non-Lethal Defense can help customers understand where to start, but we do not control or approve manufacturer warranty decisions.

Warranty support may not be available for misuse, abuse, neglect, improper storage, unauthorized repairs, disassembly, third-party modifications, incompatible accessories, incompatible projectiles, incompatible CO2 or gas cartridges, missing proof of purchase, or use outside product instructions.

Byrna products are subject to Byrna Technologies Inc.’s official product terms, warranty terms, safety instructions, manuals, warnings, exclusions, limitations, registration process, and Return Merchandise Authorization process.

Customers should follow all instructions provided by Byrna before shipping any Byrna product for inspection, warranty review, repair, replacement, credit, or refund consideration.

17. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, product layouts, images, icons, videos, page designs, written materials, product collections, and other content, is owned by or licensed to Non-Lethal Defense or its suppliers, manufacturers, licensors, or service providers.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, publish, sell, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit any website content without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

Product names, brand names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

We may remove, reject, or edit submitted content at our discretion.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Non-Lethal Defense and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, suppliers, manufacturers, affiliates, service providers, and licensors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, personal injury, property damage, misuse, unlawful use, or claims arising from your purchase, possession, storage, transportation, handling, or use of any product.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product, order, website use, service, or transaction shall not exceed the amount you paid to Non-Lethal Defense for the product or order giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies Non-Lethal Defense may have to respond to fraud, chargeback abuse, unlawful conduct, product misuse, harassment, threats, or other conduct requiring immediate action.
